How To See Through Linear Time
linear time is a mental construct used by consciousness to create individuated selves.
The way in which linear-time is experienced differently by our spirit is a fascinating topic because of how it incorporates so many spiritual principles. When time is understood to be an illusion, past and future are understood not as outward things, but as constructed ideas that give meaning to our experience and sense of self. This text explores how it is possible to see through the containment of linear-time. How is it possible that such “magical” or “psychic” inner-senses can exist? remember that experiencing these phenomena for yourself rests on your belief that it is possible.
All separation is an illusion.
separation is a perceptual illusion experienced within consciousness. What appears as the solidity of the outer world, only exists within perception. perception exists within consciousness. Consciousness is that which is aware of perception and experiences presence through it. Physical matter and linear-time are forms of separation. Without separation, all consciousness is one. Consciousness uses the illusion of separation to experience itself as many individuals. Every individual is a unique experience of perception.
- consciousness is awareness of what is. “What is” is everything in existence, including all that is identified as past, future, literal, perceptual, or imaginary. All consciousness, whether within a collective or individual experience of reality, experiences a self.
- self is an experience of identification that arises within awareness. To be conscious of what you are focused upon is to feel present in your experience—rather than separate from it. Your sense of presence in the reality of your self is a quality of consciousness.
- individuality is a state of partial consciousness created through the experience of separation. Through individuality, consciousness can experience itself as many independent, individuated experiences of self that can interact. Through this interaction, further experiences of individuation naturally evolve.
- The human self is an intention to experience a particular flavor of individuality. Having selected an entry point which contains encoded intentions for the entire life, the personified consciousness then continues to determine itself within the system through the ever-evolving choice of self-identification.
physical matter is created through a perceptual projection that creates the illusion of spatial separation. In just the same way that physical space separates one thing from another, so linear-time is the illusion of temporal separation. Time and space are perceptual projections that create the experience of outward reality which our experience of self is contained within. They are the primary forms of separation used by consciousness to create experiences of individuality (such as being human).
The outer world and your physical body are the perceptual projection of a state of consciousness choosing to dream of being a physical, individuated self contained within a world of consistent solidity. You witness the ability of your consciousness to create worlds every night when you dream. However, the waking dream of your life is governed by rules of persistence and linear consistency that we have all chosen to experience while in human form.
consciousness, when it is not embodied, knows it is not separate from anything in terms of either time or space. To become an individual therefore requires making the choice to become unconscious of how everything is the projection of a single, unified consciousness. This choice for unconsciousness creates an experience of a self who possesses its own unique perspective and thereby a unique, unfolding experience of self (namely individuality).
A moment of human perception is an experience of partial consciousness because it is a slice of the total perception that exists within the unified consciousness—which is infinite in its potential. Therefore, it is one of an infinite number of momentary perceptions you are sequentially moving through in your creation of a mortal self that lives within linear-time. Our individuality is shaped through our choice of which parts of “all that is” are kept conscious, and which are made unconscious.
You are the one eternal, consciousness in human form.
Our spirit (or wider self) exists outside the restrictive perception that creates the experience of linear-time. This can be thought of as living in a reality of all time, or universal time, where all potential experiences are accessible (regardless of any notion of them being past or future). Because our embodied self (physical) seems so clearly separate from our spirit (non-physical), it is easy to assume that linear-time is just as distinct from universal time as physicality is distinct from non-physicality. This misunderstanding is caused by the idea that your spirit does not experience physicality or linear-time (which is to view your spirit as separate when it is not—meaning it is always all things, never one or the other).
Your spirit is free to perceive anything, including the physical and non-physical, linear-time and universal time. In its freedom, BOTH experiences are available to your spirit; however, it does not experience itself as being contained by them. This means that although your spirit experiences linear-time and physicality in some fashion, it is a very different experience to the containment through which we experience them.
To possess a body which you experience yourself as contained within for your entire life is radically different than temporarily experiencing a body you can transform, or discard at will; they are, however, both experiences of physicality (with one seen as deep and one as shallow). The same shallow to deep spectrum is experienced within linear and universal time.
linear time is essentially a statement regarding the sequence of events. When embodied, we experience ourselves as unalterably tied / connected to those events in a similar way to how we experience being tied to our body. We therefore believe there is no way to alter what has already happened, and often, what is coming can be felt to be equally unalterable (whether it be the coming night, the winter, or death).
Deep experiences of linear-time and physical matter are most clearly seen as linked through their experience of containment.
With space and time being an illusion, your senses can operate in ways beyond what is biologically understood. Much of what you feel as being impulse, volition, and intuition is you tapping into the feeling of potentials in your future. To step into a shallower experience of linear-time and feel your future self is not about being able to see and predict some unalterable event in some set linear future; it is about opening to see many potential events / timelines, any of which you can choose to focus upon and experience a version of.
inner senses are not therefore about seeing the future. They are about becoming conscious of how you are not as contained and limited as you thought—leading you towards a deeper experience of freedom. This is not about stepping outside the present moment; it is about bringing potential experiences into the present moment in a way that helps direct the flow of your life in accordance with the intention of your spirit. As you start to step out of the perceptual containment of linear-time, you will experience more of what you have been, and more of what you will be, all within the present.
To feel what is going to happen, is looking into potential futures through the loosening of the belief in linear-time to experience the fluidity of universal time. The closer you move to embodying your spirit, the more you will start to experience its state of timelessness and non-definition.
This will appear as the opening of your inner-senses—the senses which are currently labeled as psychic or magical.
realize that, as real as these powers are, they are subject to your own belief-system (which includes the effect of the mass-belief-system on you). This includes the use of your inner-senses to prove to others that the inner-senses exist. To tell someone of your inner experience, no matter how emphatic and persuasive you are, will always give them the freewill option to not believe you, or to think you are deluded or confused. The level of proof available for any phenomena can only be proportional to the allowance of the mass-belief-system for it.
However, this proof is only referring to external consensus proof. Your inner-senses can personally tell you anything, with an inner knowing beyond external proof—with that level of knowing being determined by the validity you assign to your inner-senses. To learn to trust your inner-senses is to learn to trust yourself. Your inner-senses will grow as you come to both use and trust in them.
Expand your experience of reality through inner feeling, not external proof, and you will embark on an incredible journey; a journey that will lead you to your magical self. The allowance of magic is the allowance of experience that is currently beyond your understanding. Know yourself as magical and you will know magic within your reality.

realize that as real as these powers are, they are subject to your own belief-system—as well as the mass belief-system’s effect on you. This includes using your inner-senses to prove to others that inner-senses exist. When you tell someone of your inner experience—regardless of how emphatic and persuasive you are—they will always have the freewill option to not believe you (maybe by thinking you are deluded or confused). The level of proof available for any phenomenon can only be proportional to the allowance of the mass belief-system for it. As the world ‘comes to believe’, so more proof will become available.
However, this ‘proof’ is only referring to external consensus proof.
