Mastering The Pressures Of Linear Time

—No More pressure

how to give yourself the time you need.

This article reminds us to be conscious of the pressures of time. The stress of not believing you have enough time often derails us (instead of encouraging us forward). This text explores how to have an empowered relationship with time, a relationship where you are its master—not its servant.

“I choose to give myself as much time as I need to make my decisions.”

reality is a mirror that reflects us to ourselves. It does this so we may better know what we are in each moment. Time is just like any other quality we perceive in how it brings meaning to our experience. Time is a construct used by reality to reflect you to yourself.

A lack of time is a feeling; it is a feeling of lack.

When you are in difficulty with any decision, the greatest gift you can give yourself is time. If you have not clearly decided, then do not proceed. If there appears to be a time pressure on the situation, understand that you are the one creating it. Open yourself to see the choice to change the feeling of pressure. Do this by opening yourself to experience abundance—an abundance of time to make your decision.

To allow yourself time is to both acknowledge and honor yourself. When we rush to decide, we live in fear of whether we made the best choice. To allow yourself to feel rushed is to live in the shadow of your doubts (doubting you have made the best decision). The only reason we rush our decisions is because we fear something negative happening if we take too long to decide. This foundation of fear will always have an undesirable effect on the outcome, even it is discovered to be an unfounded fear. This is because reality reflects our doubts and fears to us (along with our positive beliefs).

Do not allow the pressure of time to lead you to make decisions until you have reached a point where you feel confident in your choice. In the meantime, feel confident in the choice of waiting to decide.

To have confidence in your decision is to lead yourself to the outcome you desire with confidence.

To not give yourself the time you need is a form of giving away your power. At the root this dis-empowerment is a fearful belief that you are in a reality that has the power to dictate your actions to you. It is to believe there is a force you must defer to in making your decisions (even when you do not feel ready to make them).

This article is not saying that it is wrong to feel a time pressure (just as it is not wrong to experience individuality). However, the invitation is to become consciously aware of when you are within that pressure. With this awareness you can make an informed decision about whether or not the feeling of the pressure is aiding you (versus when it is just being a conduit for expressing your fear-based beliefs in jeopardy).

In the empowering moment when you allow yourself time, have confidence the answer to your decision will be revealed. Feel the answer ahead of you in time, moving towards you. Open yourself to receive it. Know that in just giving yourself the time (and therefore space) to decide, you are giving yourself the clarity you seek.

This is a form of allowance.
allow yourself the time you need.
It is a gift only you can give to yourself.

remember, no decision is forever—you can always change your mind. Realize the power of what changing your mind can do. Do not be afraid to change your mind. When you learn to experience the pressure of time as a choice, recognize how you have used the pressure of time to motivate yourself (especially with the tasks you procrastinate around). Through this observation, sense how we have all been shaped by our experience of time. In letting go of the pressure of time you are stepping into a deeper experience of your own sovereignty (as you can no longer blame external factors for your own limits).

For myself, through my growing awareness of how I have allowed myself to experience temporal-pressure (through believing I lacked the time I needed), I have seen how this connects with my financial fears. When I open myself to a reality without time pressures, I often see that the easiest solutions are financial in naturemeaning to pay to be given more time. You’ll be surprised at how often you can pay for more time. For example, to consciously, and without stress, choose to pay a penalty fee for submitting something after the deadline.

In seeing this in myself I feel my resistance to spending money in that way and therefore see that most of the time pressures I have experienced have been a redirection of my financial fears. It is interesting how we will treat ourselves with perishable gifts like a favorite food or flowers (things we will soon have nothing outward to show for) and yet we resist choosing to pay for extra time because it seems wasteful (because if we rushed instead, then we could save that money).

In closing, I am feeling how this all relates to sovereignty—which is the mastery of the self such that you know yourself to be the creator / master of your own reality. As we awaken to our wider nature, there is an opportunity to no longer experience jeopardy in relation to time. This invitation is a choice you must meet inside yourself through being open to change.

Every person represents a journey of change, and to deny that change is to deny yourself. The recognition that we are each a journey (rather than a destination) is a part of the mastery of time because it is to see that your point of power is always in the present moment. Any ideas to the contrary are mental fears.

Give Yourself Time

“I choose to give my self as much time as I need to make any decision.”

time is a construct which reality uses to describe your state of being to you. Lack of time is a feeling—it is a feeling of lack. When you are in difficulty with any decision, realize the greatest gift you can give yourself is time. If you have not come to a clear decision, then do not proceed.

If there appears to be a time pressure on the situation, then understand you are the one creating it and open yourself to the choice to deselect it. Do this by opening yourself to experience an abundance of the time you need to make your decision.

To allow yourself time is to acknowledge and honor yourself because to decide in haste is to live in fear (a result of doubt being cast by the idea that a rushed decision may have been made). This basis of fear will always have an undesired effect on the outcome (even if it is discovered to be an unfounded fear). Therefore, do not allow the pressure of time to lead you to make decisions until you have reached a point in yourself where you feel confident in your choice. In the meantime, feel confident in the choice of waiting to decide.

To have confidence in your decision is to lead yourself to the intended outcome with confidence (with that intention being the intention of your spirit). To not grant yourself the time you need is a form of giving away your power. At its root is the idea that you are in a reality that has the power to dictate your actions to you. It is to believe there is a force that you must defer to in making your decisions (even when you do not feel ready to make them).

In the moment when you allow yourself time, feel that the answer to your decision will be revealed to you. Feel the answer ahead of you, moving towards you. Know that in just giving yourself timeand therefore spaceto make the decision, you will give yourself the clarity you seek. This is a form of allowance. Allow yourself the time you need. It is a gift of energy to yourself.

Someone who has awoken to the nature of reality, while seeing through the illusion of it, still uses the experience of time for as long as it is useful. Remember that no decision is forever as you can always change your mind. Realize the power of what changing your mind can do. Do not be afraid to change your mind. Do not be afraid to speak the change that you represent. All beings represent a journey of change, and to deny that change is to deny yourself.

The Pressure of Time

Regardless of our understanding of time as a mental construct—rather than an outward scientific lawwe are all capable of experiencing time as a form of psychological pressure. Because we tend to view time as immutable, going faster when under a time pressure is seen as a logical solution and we usually do not bother to question if this reaction is helping us. This is because it once served us extremely well as part of the survival-instinct.

It is not wrongto feel to a time-pressure (just as it is not wrong to experience individuality). But the invitation of freedom before you in this moment is to become consciously aware of when you are within that pressure, such that you can make an informed decision about whether or not the feeling of temporal-pressure is aiding you, versus when it is just being a conduit for expressing your fear-based beliefs in jeopardy.

As we awaken to our wider nature, there is an opportunity to not experience jeopardy in relation to time. This invitation is a choice that you can only meet by being open to change. As you come to experience the pressure of time as a choice, realize the ways in which you can use temporal-pressures to positively motivate you—especially in regard things that cause you to procrastinate (which is not laziness but a fear-based reaction to circumstances).

Through this observation, sense how extensively we have shaped our experience of reality with linear-time. Realize that in letting go of the pressure of time, you are equally stepping into a deeper experience of your own sovereignty (because of how you can no longer blame external factors for your own limits).

Through your growing awareness of the ways in which you have allowed yourself to experience temporal pressureby believing you lacked the time you needed—see how closely this may connect with any financial fears you have. When you open yourself to a reality without time pressures, see that the easiest solutions are often financial in nature (literally paying extra to have more time or for something to be done quicker). If you see this in your life, feel your resistance to spending that ‘extra’ money. This is to see how many of the time pressures you experience are in fact a redirection of financial fears (which are—at their root—survival fears).
