Does Evil Exist?

Themanifestation of evilis the manifestation of our collective lack of self-love. To call a person who has not truly felt love in their life evilis to be a person who is acting to maintain that person’s lack of feeling love. The only experience of evil is the experience that arises out of holding a belief in evil (which is how all beliefs work). With evilbeing a concept created within the human experience, one individual labeling another as evil is the clearest definition of what evil is—meaning ‘the conception and application of the label evilis what evil is. There was no such thing as evil until religion invented it as a concept to justify oppression.

Evil Is A Myth

To oppose any quality is to fearfully oppose
the fearlessness of our own design.

The word evil is one of the laziest words in our language. It is a word we attach to people and actions we cannot comprehend, and yet, the righteousness behind the word shows no comprehension of its own blindness. Instead, the word is used as judge, jury, and executioner to label someone as not worthy of their freedom and maybe even not of their own life.

Today’s article explores how the concept of evil is an illusion because nothing opposes us except our fear. Using the word evil just shows us what we are afraid of and, as a result of that fear, are in righteous judgment of. The paradoxical realization from this is that the righteousness caused by the belief in evil is probably the biggest evil in the world. This paradox makes sense as it is only saying, evil is the belief in evil, which is ultimately the realization that, as projections of eternal-consciousness, we are each the idea of ourselves.

So evil does exist, but it is not a quality a person can possess; it is a fear-based mental construct of which we can each interact with through its idea.

It is one thing to say this, but it is another to believe it. To believe what I am saying, you have to understand what is really being pointed at when people call someone evil. What is it we sense that evokes this idea of someone possessed with darkness? To understand this is to have the courage to recognize your own shadow-side and the way in which we all project our fears out onto others.

To truly accept that evil isn’t a thing that some people are and the rest aren’t, is to accept that there is no force of darkness, lack, or negativity that originates outside your consciousness because there is nothing you can experience that isn’t a reflection of you. Everything in existence can be met from a basis of joy through the understanding it is a meaningful reflection that contains the potential to enhance your understanding of what consciousnessand thereby you and all existence—can be. The relationship between you and the reflection you meet as your external reality is the common experience at the heart of all realities where the one eternal-consciousness expresses itself as many individuals.

The high degree of fear and separation we experience is an evolution of this core, common experience. This allows us to imaginatively project “what is not” onto “what is” such that it may be experienced as if it were “what is”—which is to say, we can live within the experience of our own delusions. Though the idea of being able to be deluded may not sound exciting to you (because you are currently within that state), the wider understanding is that to eternal-consciousnesswhich is immortal—the idea of being temporarily deluded is both exciting and expansive.

ELABORATION: “To be deluded” is not inherently negative. Outside embodied form, all consciousness is both unified and eternal (immortal). To be embodied is always a state of delusion because of how we come to no longer recognize ourselves as connected and infinite. All individuality is a delusion. There is a sameness to the eternal experience versus a diversity within the embodied experience. This is what makes it so appealing to eternal-consciousness and is why we keep returning to the embodied form. We do not do this despite its challenges. We do this because we love the challenge of it.

The quality of being embodiedwhich is the delusion of mortality—is created through unconsciousness (forgetting). This adds a dimension of infinite possibility to the design of creation. However, for infinite, eternal consciousness to forget isn’t straightforward. It takes one of the most powerful forces in creationfear. The reason this is such an incredible force is because it is the polarized reflection of love. But this is the force required to forget because, to eternal-consciousness, to forget is to not want to remember, and that only happens when we fear remembering.

The experience of opposition can only occur at the individuated level of perception as fear requires unconsciousness.

fear is the basis of projection. To choose to experience fear, is to suppress information about what you fear such that you experience at least one quality of it as unknown. A fear-based idea is then creatively projected onto this unknown, such that a negative meaning is attached to it. This judgmental belief causes you to experience what you fear as both different and separate from what you are, and a sense of righteousness is felt (which then maintains the fear-based separation).

fear inverts the positive feeling desire to focus on what most excites you and turns it into a negative feeling desire to avoid what you identify as being most opposed to you. To separate something from you in this way requires you to suppress your knowing of connection by making it unconscious. This then creates a space for something unknown upon which fear-based ideas can be projected.

All such projections are reflections of a way in which you fear yourself.

For example, the fear of death is birthed through creating ignorance (unconsciousness) around death, thereby transforming it into a point of blindness (unknown) onto which a fear-based idea that death is a mistake / negative is projected. The fact that we fear death is evidence we do not understand it. When seen clearly, death is understood to be no more than the self-chosen process that marks our desire to change form.

What is being pointed to here is the realization that the things we fear are not negative forces which are separate from us; they are reflections of aspects of our own wider state of being that we have chosen to be unconscious of. We do this in order to focus the experience of our embodied self.

Anything that appears to be against you can only ever be the reflection of your own self-chosen fears.

identify your fears by looking at your mental judgments and feelings of blame, victimhood, and righteousness. These all point to how you are negatively projecting ideas onto the things in this world you do not fully understand—such as by calling them evil. The only way out of this is to choose to educate yourself in regards to what it is you fear. There is nothing in this world that when fully understood is feared.

To understand how we are all expressions of eternal-consciousness in embodied form is to know there is no one else to blame because everything you experience is the product of your own creation. To reject this idea is to not only deny the full existence of whatever you are judging (even though it is a reflection); it is also to deny that the reflection you are being resistant to only exists because you, from the wider state of eternal-consciousness, designed the your experience to be this way.

To oppose any quality of the human experience is to fearfully oppose the fearlessness of your own design.

evil is a self-defeating delusion and as long as you remain within that delusion you will never see this world, your life, or yourself in the loving and inclusive way that your spirityour fearless and infinite self—sees them.
