Dream as a Child

Your Childhood Dreams Carry An Amazing Message.

Just because your childhood dreams are a part of a child’s innocent wonder does not mean they do not have value or are something to be “grown out of”. These wonder-filled dreams do not die as a natural part of growing up; it is us that chooses to suppress them. Although it may seem that there is a message to dream Big!” as we get older this message is doused in warnings not to be naÏve and to keep our dreams realistic, practical, and based in financial productivity.

Through this counter-message to dreaming big” we are taught to bury the magnificent fantasies that we fostered in our childhood to get down to the business of working hard in order to earn money and fulfill our obligations.

remembering what you wanted as
a child can free your future.

The fantasies that we birthed free from restrictive beliefs, exist like a child within us—a child that has not been conditioned to think in limited ways.

This child represents the creative power of choice, free from the “adult” filters of practicality, logic, duty, the past, or knowing the right thing to do. Remember your childhood fantasies to experience, once again, what it is to dream as a child. To resurrect this gift is to allow the child within you to exist again.

Do this through allowance—the allowance of your imagination to roam freely and the allowance of your body to act and play in that fantastical landscape without regret, guilt or shame. Remember what it is to be a self that does not think in terms of right and wrong, should and shouldn’t, or what is and isn’t possible. Without the restrictive idea of “needing to know in order to act” you can dance and play freely in the present. Joy arises in the presence of clarity—in this state there are no mistakes because you see and appreciate the value of everything.

As we get older we accumulate an array of both positive and negative experiences. This accumulation of emotional-charge gives rise to our beliefs about the world being both good and bad (causing us to view reality in a polarized way). As adults we evolve this belief-system to help us navigate the world, helping us to avoid painful experiences while leading us toward joyful experiences. Despite how helpful and hard earned our accumulation of knowledge and its associated beliefs can feel to be (in terms of effectively navigating society), we rarely notice how this causes us to disconnect from the infinite freedom of our imagination.

feel how your childhood dreams remain within you even when you have lost contact with the knowing of freedom that you had as a child. To devalue your imagination is to close your heart and limit your creativity and intuition. When we do this as a part of becoming an adult” we are then the only one that can choose to open ourselves back up to that freedom again through unrestricted fantasy.

This is not just a choice to allow ourselves to roam—without restriction—through our imaginations once more; it is the choice to take an empowered position over our most painful experiences. Are you willing to unknow your pain as you have known it and heal it through no longer identifying it as a wound?

painful childhood experiences lead us to develop fearful ideas about the world. These fears that may haunt you are a repetitive, mental state of perception. When you disarm your fears (by seeing them clearly), you will know that you are capable of meeting any fear as a positive, exciting sensation to explore and learn from, rather than a negative obstacle to defeat.

There is no knowledge that you need to accumulate to keep yourself protected. There is no fear that you cannot transform and release through changing how you perceive it.

To live in joy is to walk in freedom within reality, such that you see past its masks and live through your feeling for life.

To choose to live in joy is to choose to release the past—including all the feelings of guilt, shame, sacrifice and the sense of mission that exist within it. The most exciting experiences of self are present in joy and they are calling to you from within the many probable realities that are before you. Between you and that joy stands whatever fear you are carrying (embedded in your beliefs).

To walk through that fear is to uncloak it and that is to uncloak yourself from negative fear-based beliefs you developed as self-protection. To be fearless is not to not know fear. fearlessness is to free yourself from the negative experiences of your past. The ones that led you to become fearful. To be fearless is to express yourself in freedom, whether that be through art, writing, or music.

Dare! Dare to dream as a child once more.

“I choose to dream, fantasize, and imagine with the freedom of a child.”

As we grow up we accumulate an array of both positive and negative experiences. This accumulation of emotional charges gives rise to our beliefs about the world being both positive and negative—which causes us to view reality in a polarized way. As adults, we evolve this belief-system to help us navigate the world through seeking to avoid painful experiences and heading towards joyful experiences. As such, we feel identified with our belief-system and see it as a representation of who we are. However, despite how helpful and hard-earned our accumulation of knowledgeand its associated beliefscan feel to be in terms of effectively navigating society, we often do not notice how this causes us to disconnect from the infinite freedom of our imagination.

feel how your childhood dreams still exist within you, even when you have lost contact with the knowing of your freedom to be which you had as a child . To devalue your imagination is to close your heart. When we do this as a part of becoming an adult’, we are then the only one who can choose to open ourselves back up to dream again through the freedom of unrestricted fantasy.

This is not just a choice to allow ourselves to roam freely through our imaginations once more—it is the choice to take an empowered position over our most painful experiences. Are you willing to unknow your pain as you have known it and thereby heal it by no longer identifying it as a wound?

There is no knowledge you need to accumulate to keep yourself protected. There is no fear you cannot perceptively transform and release. To live in joy is to walk freely within reality, such that you see past its masks and live through your feeling for life. To choose to live in joy is to choose to release the past—including feelings of guilt, shame, sacrifice, and a sense of mission that exist within it.

The most exciting experiences of self are present in joy and they are calling to you from within the many probable realities that are before you. Between you and that joy stands whatever fear you are carrying (embedded in your body and beliefs). To walk through that fear is to uncloak it, and that is to uncloak yourself from the negative fear-based beliefs you may have developed as a form of self-protection.

To be fearless is not ‘to not know fear’—to know fearlessness is to not be contained by the negative experiences of your past that led you to become fearful.

As you come to recognize how painful experiences in your youth led you to develop fearful ideas about the world, see how the fears that have most haunted you are a repetitive mental state of perception. When you disarm your fears by seeing them in this way, know you are capable of meeting any fear as an exciting sensation to explore and learn from—rather than as an obstacle to be defeated.
